Throughout the acquisition process, energy assessments are conducted for relevant assets, evaluating the return on investment for various energy interventions. These assessments gauge a building’s utility usage, allowing for the optimization of energy conservation measures to maximize investment efficiencies. The process extends beyond energy considerations to identify opportunities for water usage reduction, including the installation of water-efficient systems, water re-use mechanisms, and high-energy fixtures.
